Yes, once you download the Quran + chosen reciter (~500 MB).

Yes. Portrait and landscape both supported.
Does it work for non-Arabic speakers?
Yes — transliteration, translation, word-by-word reciters, and AI coaching in your language.
Memorization
How fast will I memorize?
Depends entirely on your time and consistency. See realistic timelines.
Can I use HafizPrime instead of a teacher?
No. The app is best used alongside a qualified teacher for weekly tasmee’.
What if I lose what I memorized?
The retention model will help rebuild. See For Returning Memorizers.
Privacy
Is my recitation audio private?
Yes. Analyzed on-device when possible; never used to train models; deleted within 30 days if cloud analysis was needed.
What data do you sell?
None. HafizPrime does not sell user data.
Does the AI Coach see my personal data?
Only a hashed summary of your progress. No name, location, or message history.
Pricing
Will there ever be a paid tier?
Possibly. It will be optional, and the memorization engine will stay free.
Do you accept donations?
No. Support well-established Islamic education charities instead.
Teachers
Is Teacher Mode free?
Yes, for individual teachers and students. Institutional tier is free during pilot.
Can I see my students’ recitation audio?
Only if a student explicitly shares a clip.
Religious accuracy
Is the content scholar-reviewed?
Yes. All religious content passes our Scholar Panel before publishing.
Can the AI Coach issue fatwas?
No. Religious questions are routed to the Scholar Panel or external scholars.
Do you generate AI Quran or hadith?
No. Ever.
