Traditional hifz thrives with a qualified teacher. Most people do not have daily access to one. The HafizPrime AI Quran Coach is not a replacement for a sheikh — it’s the patient study partner who sits with you between sessions with your teacher.
The coach learns:
- Your native language and preferred reciter
- Your starting level (just starting, 1–5 Juz, complete hafiz revising, etc.)
- Your weekly time budget
- Your strengths and common mistakes
- Your goal (e.g., finish Juz Amma by Ramadan 2027)
It then proposes a plan — and adjusts it daily based on what actually happened.

What the coach will do
- Suggest today’s three most important verses to review.
- Explain why a verse is scheduled now (retention dipping, mutashabihat conflict, etc.).
- Help you pick the right reciter for a tricky passage.
- Walk you through a tajweed rule with examples.
- Break a surah into achievable daily blocks.
- Interpret your Retention Score and recommend what to practice next.
What the coach will not do
- Issue fatwas or religious rulings. Every time a question drifts into fiqh, aqeedah, or personal religious decisions, the coach directs you to our Scholar Panel or recommends consulting a qualified local scholar.
- Generate Quranic verses, hadith, or recitations. All text comes from authenticated sources. The coach will quote; it will not fabricate.
- Replace your teacher. It’s a tool, not a tradition.
Under the hood
- Primary model: Google Gemini 1.5 Flash.
- Fallback: DeepSeek-Chat.
- Context window: Your progress summary (hashed, minimal PII) is sent with each query.
- Data retention: Coach logs are kept for 90 days for quality review, then anonymized and aggregated. You can disable logging in Settings → AI → Privacy.

Will the coach speak my native language?
If your OS language is supported, yes. English, Arabic, Urdu, Indonesian, Turkish, French are fully covered. More coming.
Is the coach always available offline?
No — it requires an internet connection. The rest of the app works offline.
How do I report a bad answer?
Tap the thumbs-down icon on any coach message, then “Report.” Every report is reviewed.
