TL;DR: Accurate prayer times based on your GPS location or a fixed city, with optional adhan audio and hifz session reminders tied to salah windows. Calculation methods include the major conventions (ISNA, MWL, Egyptian, Umm al-Qura, etc.).
How it works
- Location: Uses GPS (with permission) or a manually set city. No tracking — location is used only for prayer calculation.
- Calculation methods: ISNA, Muslim World League, Egyptian General Authority, Umm al-Qura (Makkah), University of Tehran, and Karachi.
- High-latitude adjustments: Angle-based, one-seventh night, and middle of the night methods for extreme latitudes.
- Hanafi Asr: Toggle between standard and Hanafi Asr calculation.
Integration with hifz
The prayer times feature integrates with your memorization schedule in two ways:
- Pre-Fajr reminder: Configurable alarm at 30/45/60 minutes before Fajr — the optimal memorization window.
- Post-salah adkar + revision prompt: After each prayer, the app can prompt your morning/evening adkar and then offer to start your scheduled revision.
Notifications
Each prayer time can have its own notification: on, off, or “adhan audio.” The adhan plays from your selected muadhin. Settings → Notifications → Prayer Times to configure per-prayer.
In the app
Home → Prayer tab. Shows today’s times, next prayer countdown, and the hifz session attached to each window.
