Made for peace of mind
HafizPrime defaults protect your child:
- No ads. Ever.
- No open chat with strangers. Community features are opt-in by a grown-up.
- No private data sold. See Privacy Policy.
- Screen-time reports so you know how they’re spending time in the app.
What you see (with your child’s consent)
- Whether they practiced today.
- Their weekly streak.
- Minutes spent per week.
- Their current surah focus.
If your child wants to share more (their Retention Score, for example), they can. If they don’t, they don’t. Hifz is a personal journey.
Parental controls
Settings available to the adult who owns the device:
- Downtime: hours the app is inaccessible.
- Daily limit: gentle cap before a “rest for today” nudge.
- Community off — completely hides community tabs.
- Sensitive features off — hides AI Coach if you prefer.
- Content warnings — you review any news, tafsir updates, or new features that touch mature topics before your child sees them.
A simple family plan
- Sit together for the first install. Set up the account. Pick a reciter.
- Agree on a time. 15 minutes before dinner works for many families.
- Check in weekly. Look at the streak together. Celebrate showing up.
- Introduce their teacher. Guardian Link → lets their teacher help with specifics.
A note about pressure
Hifz is one of the greatest gifts a parent can support. It is also easy to accidentally push a child into resentment. HafizPrime is built with one principle: consistency and joy over intensity and anxiety.
If your child needs to take a week off, let them. The retention model will handle it.
