TL;DR: Find mosques near you with directions, prayer times, and distance. Uses Google Places data with offline caching for recent searches. Helpful when traveling or new to an area.
How it works
- Search: Uses your current GPS location to find mosques within a configurable radius (default: 5 km).
- Data: Powered by Google Places API — shows mosque name, address, distance, rating, and opening hours where available.
- Directions: Tap any result to open directions in your default maps app (Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze).
- Offline cache: Recent searches are cached so you can revisit results without internet.
Why it’s in a hifz app
Congregation amplifies hifz practice. Many memorizers recite Quran in the masjid before or after salah — finding one nearby removes friction. For travelers, the Mosque Finder, Qibla, and Prayer Times together create a portable prayer toolkit.
Filters
- Radius: 1 km, 2 km, 5 km, 10 km, 25 km.
- Open now: Filter to mosques currently open.
- Rating: Sort by community rating.
Privacy
Your location is sent to Google Places for the search query. It is not stored by HafizPrime or shared with anyone else. You can revoke location permission at any time; the feature falls back to manual city search.

Home → Prayer tab → Mosques. Or via voice: “Find mosques nearby.”
