Available widgets
- Daily Verse: Shows the ayah you’ll memorize today. Tap to open directly in memorization mode.
- Retention Summary: A compact heat-map-style indicator: green/amber/red for your overall retention health.
- Streak Counter: Your current streak number. Clean, minimal.
- Next Revision: Shows the surah and page due for revision next, with time until it’s scheduled.
- Prayer Times: Next salah name and countdown timer.
Why widgets matter for hifz
Consistency is the hardest part of memorization. Widgets create ambient awareness — every time you unlock your phone, you see where you stand. The research on “implementation intention” (linking a habit to a cue) is strong; a visible daily verse widget is a cue that requires no willpower to notice.
Setup
- iOS: Long-press home screen → + button → search “HafizPrime” → choose widget size.
- Android: Long-press home screen → Widgets → HafizPrime → drag to desired position.
