Quick answer: Settings → AI → AI Coach → off. The app works fully without it.
Why disable
- Privacy preference (no data should leave the device, even to a trusted provider).
- You prefer to ask questions to a human teacher instead.
- Your madhhab or community guidance restricts AI-based religious dialogue.
How to disable
- HafizPrime → Settings → AI.
- Tap AI Coach → select Off.
- The AI Coach UI disappears from the app; no requests will be made.
Alternative: use offline mode
If you want coach-like help but no internet-based AI, choose Offline mode instead of off. A smaller on-device model handles basic questions. Less capable, but 100% private.
Alternative: restrict topics
Settings → AI → Topic guardrails lets you limit the Coach to memorization technique only (no fiqh, no tafsir, no interpretation). Useful if you just want method help but not religious dialogue.
