Quick answer: Settings → Guardian Link → find the teacher → tap Revoke. Takes effect immediately. No explanation required.
Step by step
- Open HafizPrime → Settings → Guardian Link.
- You’ll see all currently linked teachers and parents.
- Tap the teacher or parent you want to unlink.
- Tap Revoke access.
- Confirm. The link ends immediately; they lose access to your progress.
What happens when you revoke
- The teacher or parent can no longer see your progress, retention, or tajweed flags.
- They receive a single notification: “A student has unlinked.” No reason is shown.
- Any data they already saw is not automatically deleted from their end (they can’t see new data, but screenshots they took earlier remain theirs).
Why you might revoke
Any reason is valid. Common ones: changing teachers, finishing a course, moving to self-study, or privacy preference. No one on our team ever asks why.
Re-linking later
If you want to reconnect with the same teacher, they can send a new invitation code. There’s no record of past links affecting future ones.
