Quick answer: Force-quit and relaunch first. If it keeps crashing, reinstall the app. If it still crashes after a fresh install, report a bug with details.
Quick fixes (try in order)
- Force-quit. iOS: swipe up and flick HafizPrime away. Android: recent apps → swipe away. Reopen.
- Restart your device. Fixes most transient crashes.
- Update the app. App Store or Play Store → HafizPrime → Update. We fix crashes rapidly.
- Check OS version. We support iOS 15+ and Android 9+. Older OSes may work but are untested.
- Reinstall. Uninstall HafizPrime, restart your device, install fresh. Your progress is safe — it’s stored on our servers and syncs on sign-in.
Known crash triggers we’ve fixed
- Low storage (< 100 MB free) caused sync failures — now handled gracefully.
- Very old iPhones (6s) occasionally crashed on long audio — fixed in v2.1.
- Android 9 with < 2 GB RAM can't run the verifier — we now warn and disable it automatically.
If it still crashes
Report with: device model, OS version, app version, and what you were doing when it crashed. Screenshots or a short video help enormously. Use the bug report flow — it auto-attaches the relevant logs.
